’something food related’ is a website about, go figure, food and all things concerning it.

Originally, “sfr” was the domain for my (Ryan’s) blog many years back, and then I shut it down in 2006.  After a few years of working professionally in kitchens, both in New York City and Rochester, NY, I decided to bring it back to life.  Lo and behold, the domain name was still available after letting it lapse.

The posts could go off the beaten path in terms of subject matter, but the concentration is now primarily on food.  Restaurants, cookbooks, recipes, techniques, anecdotes, quotes, whatever: for the most part, it’ll be something food related.
